Sredi najhujše Trnfestovske vročice nas čaka peklenski večer, ki ga bodo lahko ohladile le dolgodlake slemajoče metalske grive…..ki bodo izkazovale podporo thrasherjem Negligence in death metalskim Sweet Sorrow…

Negligence (SLO)so thrash metal zasedba, ki je bila ustanovljena leta 2001. Svoj pohod na glasbeno sceno so si utrli z mnogo koncerti pri nas kot tudi v tujini in s svojimi nastopi navdušili veliko število publike. Band ima za seboj že tudi prvenec, ki je izšel leta 2007, z naslovom Options of a Trapped Mind, ki je bil deležen zelo dobrih ocen in kritik. Zasedba bo letos izdala tudi naslednik, ki ga bo delček možno slišati tudi na koncertu.

Drugi pa bodo nastopili melodični death metalci Sweet Sorrow (SLO), ki neprekinjejo delujejo že polnih 13 let. Za seboj imajo tri albume in celo DVD, ki je bil posnet ravno tu, v Kudu Franceta Prešerna, na prvem festivalu z imenom Heavy New Year. Zadnja izdana mojstrovina pa je nastala pred kratkim, pod budnim očesom 666 Productions, ki je poskrbela za izgled videospota za pesem God of War Fantje so ravno pred izidom četrtega albuma ki ga marsikdo že nestrpno pričakuje. Že samo dejstvo, da je bilo vse skupaj posneto v Negligent Sound Studio Solutions obljublja, da bo zadeva zvenela konkeretno in prepričljivo, naslov 1000th Millenium pa nakazuje, da je glasba Sweet Sorrow večna… V jeseni se podajajo na koncertno osvajanje onstran meje ter obljubljajo, da bo izpod njihovih prstov še mnogo in mnogo kitarskih riffov…..

Negligence are a thrash metal band formed in 2001. They earned their place on the music scene with a large number of concerts in Slovenia and abroad, gaining themselves a large audience in the process. Their debut album "Options of a Trapped Mind", released in 2007, garnered excellent reviews. The follow-up is due this year, and we will have a chance to hear some of it at the concert.

Next up are melodic death metal band Sweet Sorrow, who have been gigging and recording non-stop for 13 years. Their back catalague includes three albums and even a DVD filmed right here at KUD France Prešeren at the first Heavy New Year festival. They have recently made a video for their song "God of War" under the watchful eye of 666 Productions and are about to release their eagerly awaited fourth album. The fact that this latest work was recorded in Negligent Sound Studio Solutions is a guarantee that it is going to sound good, while the title "1000th Millennium" is an indication that Sweet Sorrow's music is eternal. In the autumn they begin an international tour and they promise that they have plenty more riffs in them…
